The Hamburger Eyes Experience was in full effect on Friday night. With several hundreds in attendence, Hawai’i came out strong to support their local talent. (New York and San Francisco were on board too, madness) ASWS and Burgerworld Media wanna give a fully extended, over the head, from side to side, shaka to all who attended the show. High fives to Ed & Dave (Town) for the amazing food, Keali’i, Steph, Mike, Ken, Kale and all the others who helped get everything up and running. And, as the title of the show implies, it ain’t exactly over yet. Look out for more content regarding the show night and some possible extended director’s cut kine stuffs.

December 14th, 2005Honolulu, HI - Airspace Workshop is proud to present TOMORROW + YESTERDAY, a one-night only photography installation and works-for-sale event featuring photos from the critically acclaimed photography magazine Hamburger Eyes. The event takes place Friday, December 23rd 2005 at Airspace Workshop, 3624 Waialae Avenue Suite 201, Honolulu, HI 96816 from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.
TOMORROW + YESTERDAY explores the conflict between the promises of modern development and its burgeoning consequences, exposing the reality of the contemporary human existence. TOMORROW + YESTERDAY features works from Ray Potes, David Potes, Stefan Simikich, Jason Roberts Dobrin, Dave Schubert, Ted Pushinsky, Dylan Maddux, Dave Uzzardi and Boogie.
Hamburger Eyes is the creation of San Francisco based photographers Ray & Dave Potes. Dedicated to capturing “the continuing story of life on Earth,” the tri-annual publication showcases the unseen and iconic moments of everyday life. Its hard-edged rawness has been turning heads, with mentions in lifestyle publications such as Vibe, Trace, Anthem, and Tokion. Most recently, Hamburger Eyes participated in Bay Area Now 4, a showcase of the current Bay Area must-sees presented by the Yerba Buena Center For The Arts.
TOMORROW + YESTERDAY is presented by Airspace Workshop, a Honolulu-based multimedia design firm. Founded in 2001 by Christopher Kalima and Joshua Lake, Airspace Workshop uses both classic and modern techniques to create works for print, broadcast, and online mediums. In addition to client work, the company also executes personal and experimental projects, with the expressed purpose of fostering non-commercial artistic endeavors.
