Airspace Workshop Internship

Airspace Workshop is a Honolulu based new media design studio. We create print, interactive, and motion graphic solutions for our clients. Examples of our work are available in our online portfolio.

We are seeking a qualified individual for an unpaid 6-month, part-time internship position.

Applicants should be motivated self-starters, who are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Work hours are flexible and should not exceed 20 hours per week. Although the position is unpaid, college credit is possible.

The internship will begin in February and run for an extendable 6-month period.

Internship Duties Include

Assisting with the production and design details of materials including, but not limited to, identities, brochures, announcements, posters, promotional materials, websites, etc.

Assisting with web maintenance, including file updates, copywriting, and HTML revisions.

Conducting research on clients, designers, publications, and other design-related activities.

Preparation of correspondence, files, and other documents.

Educational Requirements

Applicants must possess a BA in graphic or web design, or currently enrolled in a college-level program.

Desired Skillsets

Proficient in Mac OS X, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash, and HTML.

Knowledge of UNIX, PHP, MySQL, CSS and Javascript is a plus.
